Born 1918 in Van Meter, IA (d. 2010), Bob Feller was a right-handed pitcher who debuted in 1936 and played 18 major-league seasons. He went 266-162 with a 3.25 ERA and 2,581 strikeouts across 570 appearances. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
