The story on this card
Game 1 of the 1970 American League Championship Series, played at Metropolitan Stadium, turned on a seven-run fourth inning for Baltimore against Minnesota's Jim Perry, a 24-game winner. Mike Cuellar, a .089 hitter, sent a grand slam drifting over the right-field fence in a 29-mile-an-hour wind. Don Buford followed with a home run, and Boog Powell, batting left-handed, hit one off reliever Bill Zepp to finish the inning. Powell added an RBI single in the sixth. Dick Hall relieved Cuellar and allowed one hit over the last 4 2/3 innings. Baltimore won the game 10-6 and swept the Twins three games to none. This is 1971 Topps #195, the first of the Playoffs subset (#195-202) in the second series, titled Powell Muscles Twins! and listed with the Baltimore Orioles.
