The story on this card

Three pitchers sit atop the 1969 American League ERA board on card #68, in the League Leaders subset of the first series. Dick Bosman of the Washington Senators won the title at 2.19, going 14-5 over 193 innings. Jim Palmer of the Baltimore Orioles was second at 2.34 despite six weeks on the disabled list with a torn back muscle; he threw a no-hitter against Oakland on August 13. Mike Cuellar, also of the Orioles, was third at 2.38 with a 23-11 record, and he shared the Cy Young Award with Denny McLain. Baltimore won 109 games and the first AL East title.

Dick Bosman - a right-hander who led the AL in ERA in 1969 and no-hit the world champion A's in 1974, missing a perfect game only on his own throwing error. Jim Palmer was Baltimore's ace right-hander, a three-time Cy Young winner and four-time Gold Glover who worked on three World Series champions, beat Sandy Koufax in Koufax's final appearance, and reached the Hall of Fame in 1990. Mike Cuellar - Cuban left-hander who spent years in the minors before a screwball turned his career around in 1964, then won 20 or more games four times for Baltimore, shared the 1969 Cy Young Award and helped the Orioles win the 1970 World Series.
