1954-55 Topps #12 Bucky Hollingworth
His first mainstream card, and a Topps exclusive - no Parkhurst card through 1954-55.

About Bucky Hollingworth
A Montreal kid who came up through the Junior Canadiens and turned pro with the QSHL's Montreal Royals, Bucky Hollingworth jumped straight into the Original Six fire in 1954-55, playing all 70 games on the Chicago Black Hawks blue line as a rookie. The rugged defensive defenceman posted three goals, nine assists, and a bruising 135 penalty minutes, good for fifth in Calder Trophy voting. That May, Chicago shipped him to Detroit in a blockbuster — Hollingworth, Dave Creighton, John McCormack, and Jerry Toppazzini for Tony Leswick, Glen Skov, Johnny Wilson, and Benny Woit — and he skated for the Cup-champion Red Wings in the October 1955 All-Star Game, a 3-1 win over the All-Stars. He logged 163 NHL games through 1958, then captained the AHL's Hershey Bears until leukemia forced him off the ice in 1962; he died in 1974, just 40. Card #12 is his rookie card and a Topps exclusive — Parkhurst never issued him through 1954-55.
