1975 Topps #300 Reggie Jackson
Reggie Jackson at a hero number — famously WITHOUT the All-Star flag he had earned as a 1974 starter (the one starter Topps missed).

About Reggie Jackson
Reginald Martinez Jackson broke into the majors with the Kansas City Athletics in 1967 after starring at Arizona State, then anchored Oakland's dynasty as the A's right fielder through 1975, winning the 1973 AL MVP award and World Series MVP as the club won three straight championships (1972-74). Traded to Baltimore for 1976, he signed with the Yankees for 1977 and delivered his signature moment: three consecutive home runs in the clinching Game 6 of that year's World Series, cementing the nickname "Mr. October" earned across a postseason resume that also included Oakland's three-peat and two AL West titles with the Angels (1982, 1986). He finished with 563 home runs, 2,584 hits, 14 All-Star selections, and first-ballot election to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993. His 1975 Topps card #211 pairs him with that year's NL winner in the "1973 MVPs" subset; on his hero-numbered #300 base card, collectors note Topps omitted the All-Star flag he'd earned as the American League's starting right fielder in 1974 - the design's only missed starter.
