1954-55 Topps #19 Leo Labine
Uncorrected error: Name misspelled "LaBine" on both the front and the back - never corrected.

About Leo Labine
Leo Labine hit the NHL the way he hit everyone else — hard. Fresh off the Memorial Cup-champion 1951 Barrie Flyers, the Haileybury, Ontario winger joined Boston late in 1951-52 and promptly flattened Rocket Richard in that spring's playoffs — the knockout behind hockey's famous photo of a bloodied Rocket shaking Sugar Jim Henry's hand. "Leo the Lion," a tag fitting both his first name and his ferocious, trash-talking style, patrolled right wing for the Bruins through 1961, then finished in Detroit in 1961-62: 643 games, 128 goals, 321 points, three Cup Finals trips without a ring. This card catches his finest season — 1954-55, when he led the Bruins in scoring with 24 goals and 42 points, won the Elizabeth C. Dufresne Trophy, made the first of back-to-back All-Star Games, and piled up five points in one period at Detroit's Olympia. Not a rookie card — that's his 1952-53 Parkhurst — and Topps misspelled him "LaBine" on both front and back, never corrected.
